TERRA COUNSELING & CONSULTING WELCOMES TWO NEW THERAPISTS
Baltimore, Maryland: Paula Peach Ehrmann, MS, LCPC and Barbara van der Vossen, pre-licensed art therapist, joined the team as the two newest therapists at Terra Counseling & Consulting, Inc (Terra). They each bring their own unique gifts and specialties to help meet the growing needs of current and future clients.
Ehrmann comes to Terra with over thirty years of experience in counseling receiving her Master of Science in Applied Psychology and Quantitative Methods from the University of Baltimore. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a proven, effective treatment modality for trauma, anxiety, and phobias. Previously she owned and ran her own group practice, Peach Therapy where she touched hundreds of lives over the years.
“Paula has been a trusted advisor and mentor of mine,” said Amy Price, Clinical Director for Terra. “Her insight and experience as a leading Baltimore trauma therapist is invaluable and she will help to shape the work we do to help our clients heal, repair, and flourish as they work through their past experiences.”

van der Vossen is an artist and storyteller who brings her creative background to a new medium in therapeutic art. She will be receiving her Master of Arts in Art Therapy from George Washington University this summer and then will soon become a Licensed Graduate Professional Art Therapist and Licensed Graduated Professional Counselor. She has worked previously as an artist, poet, and yoga instructor combining her creativity and love for helping people grow.
“Barbara understands the transformative power of creative expression first-hand,” said Price. “She will bring a brand new perspective and opportunity for our clients in therapy to explore their own creativity as they work to unleash their healing potential.”
“I am passionate about exploring the neuroscientific reasoning behind the human urge to create,” said van der Vossen, “and how that urge relates to the infinite potential for personal growth. Art talent is not necessary to benefit from therapeutic art, so it is an honor to accompany my clients as their perspectives shift and grow throughout their healing process.”
