TERRA COUNSELING & CONSULTING WELCOMES NEW COUNSELOR
JORDAN BRAND, MA, LGPC
Baltimore, Maryland: Jordan Brand, MA, LGPC, joined the team at Terra Counseling & Consulting, Inc (Terra) as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary and is a Trust-Based Relational Intervention® Practitioner (TBRI®). TBRI® is a therapeutic model tailored to children and adolescents who have experienced complex, developmental trauma. It is used to support the children and their families in developing connective and empowered relationships.
“I am excited to have Jordan on our team,” said Amy Price, LCPC, Clinical Director for Terra. “Her training and expertise in TBRI® provide an invaluable tool that equips Jordan to connect with and empower her clients through the lens of trauma-informed care. Her desire to see her clients flourish gets at the core of the work we do here at Terra. Jordan is an asset to our team and to her clients.”
Brand most recently worked as a school-based mental health therapist in Baltimore County and has previous experience in private practice working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She uses her clinical training and TBRI® expertise to work with her clients, from an attachment-based perspective, as they seek healing and growth.
“I consider it a privilege,” said Brand, “to walk alongside those who are wrestling with trauma, attachment difficulties, grief, anxiety, depression, spiritual concerns, and other difficult life adjustments. When working with individuals and families, I seek to address the holistic needs of each person by offering an attuned presence while listening with empathy and compassion. I believe my therapeutic approach fits well with the core philosophy of Terra, and I’m looking forward to the growth opportunities I’ll have here.”
