BIOGRAPHY
Kristine Price, MS, RD, LDN, CYT-200, is a registered dietitian and graduate of New York University with a master’s degree in clinical nutrition. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and dietetics from the University of Maryland. She completed her dietetic internship at the James J. Peters Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center and became credentialed as a registered dietitian nutritionist in 2015. She is licensed to practice in multiple states. Kristine has been providing nutrition counseling for more than 10 years with a specialty in disordered eating and eating disorders. As a certified intuitive eating counselor, Kristine guides her clients to relearn how to trust their bodies.
Kristine’s philosophy on nutrition is weight-inclusive and anti-diet. She believes that food freedom forms the foundation of a healthy relationship with nutrition and one’s body, serving as a crucial pillar for mental health. With the core belief that everyone is doing the best they can, Kristine creates a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their relationships with food and body image. Kristine appreciates that food is about much more than nutrition and teaches her clients to use flexibility, balance, and self-compassion in their approach to eating. Ultimately, Kristine aims for her clients to feel confident in their ability to nourish their bodies without stress or fear.
Kristine particularly enjoys working with women during the perinatal period (pre-conception, pregnancy, postpartum), individuals with military backgrounds, and chronic dieters who are ready to make peace with food. She has significant experience working with individuals who have comorbid health conditions, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.
